AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAII PLANNING
AND ZONING 001.11'ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST
SIDE OF BRIDGE STREET BETWEEN THURMAN STREET AND ASHCRAFT AVENUE AND
AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIbKISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on July 18, 1956, entitled: A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF
BRIDGE STREET BETWEEN THURMAN STREET AND ASHCRAFT AVENUE, be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein
set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines
of Bridge Street and Ashcraft Avenue; thence east
with the center line of Ashcraft Avenue 165 feet
more or less to the center line of an alley; thence
south with the center line of said alley to the
center line of Thurman Street; thence west with
the center line of Thurman Street 318 feet more
or less to the center line of Bridge Street; thence
north with the center line of Bridge Street to the
beginning.
SECTIOPI 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred
to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING MAPi° be,
and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary
to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 4_ That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for
any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and
every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other
sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
