Aid ORDIN00E ACCEPTING THE BID OF HENRY A. PETTER SUPPLY
MOIPANY FOR THE SALE, TO THE CITY OF 2000 FEET OF 2z INCH FIRE HOSE,
ARID AUTHORIZING THE CITY KANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAn'L, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASE SHALL BE MDE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0I127ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid.of Henry A. Petter Supply Company
for the sale to the City of Paducah of 2000 -feet of 21 inch double
jacket Bi-Lateral."Dacron" 400 lb. P.S.I. fire hose in 50 foot -Sections,
coupled W/brass drop forged rocker lug couplings at:,�1.79 per foot
coupled, be accepted; and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into and execute a contract on behalf of the City
for the purchase of same.
SECTION 2. 'This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting
of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least.one
(1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it
shall be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary for
the public health and safety of the City of Paducah that.said hose
be available for fire protection purposes as soon as possible, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall'be
in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
