FOR THE PURCHASE OF SANE, AND PRESCRIBING THE TEi2•13 ATM COIIDITIOiIS
UPON WHICH SAID PURCHASE SHALL BE IiA.DE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPi-IISSIONERS OF 'THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Hannan Supply Company, Inc.
for the sale to the City of Paducah of 1000 feet of 1,° inch double
jacket B. F. Good_-ich "super control" fire hose in 50 foot lenSths
coupled t'!/type 80 drop forged -rocker lug couplin s at the purchase
price of ;?1.09 per foot, be accepted; and that the City i•a nager be,
and he is hereby, authorized to enter into and execute a contract
on behalf of the City for the purchase of same.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting
of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one
(1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it
shall be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary for
the public health and safety of the City of Paducah that said hose
be available for fire protection purposes as soon as possible, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
