.'IHLREAS, on December 6, 1955 the Board of Commissioners of
the City of Paducah approved and accepted the bid of Eastwood Plumbing
and heating Company for the construction of Sections 2 and 3 of Con-
tract No. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement
Program, and authorized the City Kanage-r to execute a contract with
Eastwood Plumbing & Heating Company for such construction, and
17HEREAS, said contract provided for certain possible Change
Orders, and
11HEREAS, Black & Veatch, the Consulting Engineers for the
construction, have recommended that an order desi--nated as Change
Order No. 1 providing for a deletion of certain items in the original
contract for Section 2 of Contract Ho. 2 of the aforesaid construction
resulting in a decrease of the contract price of :,x31200.00.
I?OIJ THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COI"11ISSIOI?ERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEII'TUCKY:
SECTIOI? 1. That Change Order No. 1 of the contract for the
construction of Section 2 of Contract i?o. 2, Sanitary Sewers of the
Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, providing for the deletion of
Item 4.2 of the contract resulting in the decrease of r'�'3,200.00 of
the contract price, be approved, and that the City I•anager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to execute such Change Order to Eastwood Plumbing
and Heating Company on behalf of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
