All ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING AND ZONING C0111ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN ELLIS STREET AND !'TEST
BOITHDARY OF THE CITY, AND A1-TNDIIIG THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01•111ISSIO 1ERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KEKTUCKYI
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
and Zoning Commission on June 6, 1956, entitled: "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLAI,IiiING AND ZONING
C01'•1,�ISSIOII OA1 TILE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY OII THE, NORTH SIDE
OF EIGHTH STREET BET11EEN ELLIS STREET AND !'TEST BOUL:DARY OF CITY",
be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the follot•rin_-
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1 to !-.,-J:
Beginning at a point in the north line of Eighth
Street marking the intersection of that line and
the {•rest boundary of the existing !J-1 Zone
immediately north of Ellis Street; thence in a
northerly direction along the crest boundary of
the said i•1-1 zone to the city boundary; thence
hest and south along the city boundary to its
intersection rrith the north boundary of the
existing 7-I-1 zone at E'Shth Street; thence east
along the north boundary of the said E-1 zone
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map
referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -
ZONING I•APte be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in
the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided
for ih Section 2 hereof.
SECTIOII 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section- paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections,paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION �. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption. 0,
