TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF TWO (2) 1956 PLYMOUTH AUTOMOBILES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1_ That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid
of H & M Motors in the amount of $3,382.96 for two (2) 1956 Plymouth
Plaza V8 five -passenger, four -door sedans, black color, 187 H. P.
Said automobiles to be equipped with heavy duty springs, heavy duty
clutch, two generators installed (one 6 -volt, 4.5 amp. generator
and one 12 -volt, 60 amp. generator), installation to be supervised
by the City, heavy duty seat springs, deluxe heater, oil bath, air
cleaner purilator, directional signals, spot lights, five (5) first
line, standard, 4. -ply tires with tubes, imitation leather seat covers
and standard shift transmission. Delivery to be made within thirty
(30) days after contract is awarded.
SECTION 2_ That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said automobile;
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
