AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE ALLOIfING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS PER MONTH FOR USE OF HIS PERSONAL MOTOR
VEHICLE", IfHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON JULY
28, 1953.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM[VIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on July 28, 1953, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordained
so that said Section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to be paid from the General Funds out of the Miscellaneous
Account, the sum of Fifty U'P50.00) Dollars per month for the use of
his own private motor vehicle in the performance of his duties as
City Manager, and is in lieu of all other transportation expense
except business trips away from the City of Paducah. Payment of
said monthly expense sum shall continue as long as the City Manager
maintains and uses his private motor vehicle in the conduct of his
office, or until this ordinance is repealed, amended or modified.
Payments shall be made as of the close of each calendar month."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after March 20, 1954•
