HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 473, No Ordinance Number473 Aid ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING 00I11I.3SIOId RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF ASHCRAFT AVENUE BETWEEN POWELL AND MISER STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO -EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIA'1ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH$ KENTUOKY: SECTION 1_ That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on December 14, 1955, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPGRT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH10-ST SIDE OF ASHCRAFT AVENUE BETUEEN P0UELL AND YEISER STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. -That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-1 Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Powell Street and Ashcraft Avenue;,thence in a norhh- easterly direction along the center line of Ashcraft Avenue to the center line of Yeiser Street; thence in a northwesterly direction along the center line of Yeiser Street 205 feet to the center line of an alley; thence in a southwesterly direction along the center line of said alley to the center line of Powell Street; thence in a southeasterly direction along the center line of Powell Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING IJAP11 be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all o£her sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
