HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 472, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FILIAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING CONNISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE HEST SIDE OF EIGHTH STREZT BETWEEN HARRISON AND CLAY STREETS, AND PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF CLAY STREET BETWEEN SEVENTH AND EIGHTH STREETS, AND A1,1ENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZ011ING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI•II-iISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and zoning Commission on December 14, 1955, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZOIC?ING CMEMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE 19EST SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET BETOEEN HARRISON AND CLAY STREETS, AND PROPERTY Oil! THF, NORTH SIDE OF CLAY STREET BET?•IEEN SEVENTH AND EIGHTH STREETS" be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 and-1 to B-1: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Eighth Street and Harrison Street; thence west with the center line of Harrison Street 203.25 feet more or less to the dividing line between the existing R-4 and 1•i-1 zones; thence north with said dividing line and that line extended in a northerly direction to the center line of Clay Street; thence east with the center line of Clay Street 203.25 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eighth Street; thence north with the center line of Eighth Street 206.26 feet, more or less, to the dividing line between the existing R-4 and M-1 zones; thence east with said dividing line to the center line of Seventh Street; thence south with the Center line of Seventh Street to the center line of Clay Street; thence west with the center line of Clay Street to the center line of Eighth Street; thence south with the center line of Eighth Street to thebeginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN-ZONING MAPie be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provision. SECTIO11 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
