AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CARMAC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
IN THE AMOUNT OF U51,263.11 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SECTION I OF
CONTRACT No. 2 SANITARY SEI^IERS OF THE SANITARY SEWERAGE IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUDAH, KENTUCKY WITH SAID CARMAC CON-
STRUCTION COMPANY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF =24ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky approve and
accept the bid of Carmac Construction Company in the amount of
?151,263.11 for the construction of Section,I of Contract No. 2,
Sanitary Sewers of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, said
construction to be done according to plans, specifications and
documents prepared by Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers of Kansas
City, Missouri, entitled: "Contract Documents, Notice to Contractors,
Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Form, Bond Form, Contract Agreement
Form, General Conditions, Special Conditions and Specifications
for Section I of Contract No. 2 Sanitary Sewers".
SECTION 2. The City Manager of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
is hereby authorized to execute the contract as set out in Section 1
hereof for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky with Carmac
Construction Company.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
