PUNISHKEP?T FOR ITS VIOLATION", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF CODIaSSIOMERS ON JULY" 9, 1946, AND Ai•TENDED NOVElBER 17, 1953 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-11ISSIOPIERS OF THE CITY OF PADUC.dl, IU �:TUCKY: SECTION 1_ That Section 6 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on July 9, 1946, and amended on i,ovember 17, 1953, be, and the sams is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: G "SECTION 6. Between the hours of 8:00 o4 clock A.I;I. ( except as hereinafter set out) and 5:00 o'clock P.I.I. on each and ever; day except Sundays and other days oinich are declared holidays by the City of Paducah, and except that such hours, Sundays and holidays shall not apply to parking meters adjacent to the Post Office property as is hereinafter set forth, it shall be unlawful for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in his name or operated or controlled by him to be parked in any space adjacent to which a parking meter is installed during any time w]hen the meter is showing a signal indicating that such space is illegally in use - other than such time as is necessary to operate the meter to show legal parking - and provided also that it shall likewise be unlawful to park for any consecutive time longer than the time indicated for the following parking meter zones: (1) Zones limited to sixty (60) consecutive minutes parking: Broadway between Second Street and Seventh Street, except north side adjacent to Post Office property. First Street between Kentucky Avenue and Broadway Third Street between Washington Street and Jefferson Street Fourth Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street Fifth Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson, except on west side adjacent to Post Office property. (2) Zones limited 'to twelve (12) consecutive minutes parking: North side of Broadway and ?lest side of Fifth Street adjacent to Post Office property. In all other parking meter zones parking shall be limited to One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive minutes. 450 The time for operation of parking meters shall begin at 9:00 o}clock A.i.i. on each and every day except Sundays and other days which are declared holidays by the City of Paducah as to the following blocks: Both sides of 6th Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street; Both sides of Broadway between 6th and 7th Streets; Both sides of.Jefferson between 5th -and 6th Streets, and Both sides of 5th Street between Broadway and Jefferson, except that portion of the west side of 5th Street adjacent to the Post Office property. it shall be unlawful for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in his name or operated or controlled by him to be parked in any space on the north side of Broadway and west side of Fifth Street adjacent to the Post Office property where parking meters are installed during any time twenty-four hours a day and seven days a reek, with no exception, when the meter adjacent to such space is showing a signal indicating that such space is illegally in use, other than such time as is necessary to operate the meter to show legal parking." SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION, 3.
