AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CARROTHERS CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY, INC. IPI THE AMOUNT OF '054,752.00 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF CONTRACT 110. 1 SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS OF THE SANITARY SE1WER4GE
II1IPROVE9JMNT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY DIANAGER TO EXECUTE
CONTRACTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY M TH SAID
CARROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF. COM-iISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIO14 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky approve and
accept the bid of Carrothers Construction Company, Inc. in the
amount of 054,752.00 for the construction of Contract No. 1, Sewage
Pump Stations of the Sanitary Sewerage Improvement Program, said
construction to be done according to plans, specifications and
documents prepared by Black & Veatch, Consulting Engineers of
Kansas City, i'-iissouri, entitled: "Contract Documents, Notice to
Contractors, Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Form, Bond Form,
Contract Agreement Form, General Conditions, Special Conditions
and Specifications;" and "Contract No. 1, Sewage Pump Stations
and Supplemental Agreement to the Contract".
SECTION 2. The City tianager of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
is hereby authorized to execute the contract and supplemental agree-
ment to the contract as set out in Section 1 hereof for -and on behalf
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky with Carrothers Construction
Company, Inc.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for public inspection for at least one (1) creek in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and. effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
