AAI ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF EAST['IOOD PLUhOING AND
HEATING COI+PANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $;;213,621..02 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SECTIONS II AND III OF CONTRACT AIO. 2 SANITARY M'[ERS OF THE
SANITARY SEWERAGE IDTROVE?-ilavT PROGRAM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY ;'LITH SAID EASTWOOD PLUI•,BIIIG AND HEATING COi'11PANY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C01-11JISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky approve and
accept the bid of Eastwood Plumbing and Heating Company in the
amount of 5213,624.02 for the construction of Sections II and III
of Contract No. 2, Sanitary Seders of the Sanitary Sewerage
Improvement Program, said construction to be done according to
plans and specifications and documents prepared by Black E: Veatch,
Consulting Engineers of Kansas City, iiissouri, entitled: "Contract
Documents, Notice to Contractors, Instructions to Bidders, Proposal
Form, Bond Form, Contract agreement Form, General Conditions,
Special Conditions and Specifications for Sections II and III of
Contract No. 2 Sanitary Severs".
SECTION 2. The City I.1anaser of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
is hereby authorized to execute the contract as set out in Section 1
hereof for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, Kentucky iri.th
Eastwood Plumbing & Heating Company.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
