HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 441, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING PROPERTY ON THE SOUTWEST SIDE OF SIXTEENTH STREET BET11IEEN CLARK STREET AND JOE BRYAN DRIVE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPIMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1_ That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and zonin Commission on November 16, 1955, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COi,TIISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHIFEST SIDE OF SIXTEENTH STREET BETWEEN CLARK STREET AND JOE BRYAN DRIVE", be approved as the final report of said Commissi respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2_ That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of 16th Street with the center line of a 25 foot alley, which point of intersection is app=ximately 293 feet southeast of the center line of Clark Street; thence in a southerly direction alongthe center line of said alley approximately 237 feet to the inter- section of that line with the center line of Short Sixteenth Street; thence in a southeasterly direction along a straight line extension of the center line of Short Sixteenth Street to the intersection of that line with the center line of another street also known as Short Sixteenth Street; thence in an easterly direction along the center line of the last named street, approximately 37.5 feet; thence at right angles north 1$$.75 feet with the east boundary of the Mamie K. Wheeler property; thence at right angles west with Wheelerts boundary 100 feet; thence at an exterior angle of 90 degrees, 2 minutes with Wheelerts boundary to the center line of Sixteenth Street; thence in a northwesterly direction along the center line of 16th Street approximately 160 feet to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP", be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4i. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
