HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 435, No Ordinance Number435 AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF MANAGER OF THE CITY WHARF AND CITY MARKET; PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES AND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH HE SHALL RECEIVE FOR HIS SERVICES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the position of Manager of the City Wharf and City Market be created, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to appoint a suitable person to fill such position. The duties of the Manager of the City Wharf and City Market shall be to keep and maintain them in accordance with rules and regulations prescribed by ordinance and as directed by the City Manager. The Manager of the City Wharf and City Market shall be subject to removal from such position at any time with.or without cause by the City Nanager, and shall not acquire any rights or benefits under civil service. SECTION 2_ The Manager of the City Wharf and City Market shall receive a salary of $240.00 per month for his services, and said salary shall be paid at the same time the salaries of other employees are paid. SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 4.
