AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF PADUCAH FORD INC.
FOR THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS VEHICLES FOR USE BY VARIOUS CITY
DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah Ford
Inc. for sale to the City of various vehicles in the amount of $274,881.00, for use by the
various City Departments, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford Inc. of
May 31, 2001.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Paducah Ford Inc. for purchase of vehicles authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bids.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the following Accounts: 071-
1210-542-4005 and 071-1210-542-4007 (FY02).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
