AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE
GRANTING PERMISSION TO W. R. YATES AND/OR HIS ASSIGNS TO CONSTRUCT
OPERATE AND MAINTAIN TELEVISION SIGNAL CABLES, LINES AND APPURTENANCES
UPON, ALONG, ACROSS, OVER AND UNDER THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC
WAYS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS
AND CONDIT=IONS UPON WHICH SUCH PERMISSION IS GRANTEDt1, WHICH WAS
ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
ON JANUARY 25, 1955
hHEREAS, by the above entitled ordinance the aforesaid
W. R. Yates and/or his assigns was granted permission to construct,
operate and maintain delevision signal cables, lines and appurtenances
upon, along, across, over and under the streets, alleys and public
ways of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and
WHEREAS, some question has arisen as to what type, manner
and operation of such equipment would be to the best interest of
the citizens of Paducah, Kentucky, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky that insufficient technical and
engineering data has been presented for consideration, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky nou.feels it is to the best interest of the citizens
therein that said permission be withdrawn and said ordinance granting
same be repealed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the ordinance containing the title quoted
above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January
25, 1955 be, and the,same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2_ This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
