That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of a portion of Iason Street east of 27th Street- and abutting on Thompson Avenue and more particularly described as follows: "Beginning at a point on the north line of Mason Avenue, said point bein,7 located 1.17 feet east of the northeast intersection of !.ason Avenue and 27th Street; thence from said beginning point on the line of a-cusve of 35 feet radius in a generally easterly direction 69.06 feet to a point in the :westerly right of way line of Thompson Avenue; thence in a northerly direction with the gest right -of -May line of Thompson Avenue 37.$0 feet to a stake where the north line of Kason Avenue intersects the westerly line of Thompson Avenue; thence in a westerly direction with the northerly line of Eason Avenue $2 feet to the point of beginning." SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized and empowered to institute, pursuant to the provisions of KRS 94.360, a suit for a decree ordering the closing of the above described property. SECTION 3.
