That Section 3: of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 16, 1936 and amended on I•lay 29, 1951, be further amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: "SECTIOU 3. Said premiums shall be paid in monthly installments and shall be set apart out of the amounts due and owing, to said employees by the City of Paducah as of the payroll period ending the 15th day of each and every month hereafter so long as said insurance shall remain in full force and effect. "The John Hancock i•=utual Life Insurance Company of Boston, I•;assachusetts, havir; proposed a plan of such group life insurance and by the terms of .-nich each member of said group of insurance as herein provided would have an insurance benefit upon his life of :,1,000 or „'2,000 as may be elected by the employee, the Eayor is authorized to execute by signia , on behalf of the City of Paducah, and subject to the conditions contained in this ordinance, any application, instrument or contract for the procurement of such insurance."
