AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BRANDEIS 14ACHINERY AND
SUPPLY CORPORATION FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE HOUGH EIID LOADER,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE 39.1
BE IT ORDAI14ED BY THE BOARD OF COP4-PiISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, II±MUCKY;
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid
of Brandeis sachinery and Supply Corporation in the sum of ;x9,350.001
less ;P2,750.00 for trade-in for one Hough 3/4 yard loader, making
the total delivery cost of ;6,600.00 for sale to the City of one (1)
Only Model HU Hough rubber tired four wheel drive front end loader
complete with torque convertor, hydraulic power steering, powered by
Hercules JYC gasoline engine -84 H.P. at 2200 RPd, 6 cylinder, 282
cu. in. displacement-, 1300 x 24., 6 ply tires front and rear, bucket
capacity 1 cu. yd. struck. Transmission full reversing, reverse
speeds better thdn 12 times as great as forward speeds. Lifting
capacity 4000;1' at 0 to 4. ITH and 8000;r" at o I-TH. height 13,000;=.
Delivery to be made within 15 days from the execution of a contract
to purchase same.
SECTION 2. That the City I.:anager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said loader
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
