SI.IITII AND iTIFE, F,THEL DuBOIS S111TH, LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST COICHER OF THE, IITTERSECTIOH OF SOUTH CMITTRAL AVEI•TUE AND 40TH STREET, AidD DEFINIIIG ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF THAT TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE I1ICLUDED [:.ITHIN THE CITY LI:TTS OF THE CITY BE IT ORDA211EED BY THE BOARD OF COT -2 -al SSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, ICENTUChY: SECTION 1_ It is hereby proposed that certain territory adjacent to the southwest corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, more particularly described hereinafter, be annexed to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and that said property so proposed to be annexed is described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 1$ in Block T'H" in Gregory Heights Subdivision to Paducah Kentucky said point being at the intersection of SoutA Central avenue with the northeast line of a 20 foot alley in said Block :'H"- thence southeastwardly with said line of said alley 437 feet more or less, to a point in the center of the rear iin_e of Lot 27 in said Block "H11; thence southwestiviardly 20 feet across said alley to a point in the center of the rear line of Lot 11 in said Block "H— thence continuing in a straight line alone the center of said Lot 11, 190 feet to a point on the northeast line of 40th Street, said point being the center of the front line of said Lot 11; thence northwestwardly with said line of 40th Street 325 feet to a point where same intersects the east line of South Central Avenue, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 17 in the aforesaid Block "I-111; thence northwardly with the east line of South Central Avenue and the west line of said Lot 17 and across the aforesaid alley.237.71.feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published in at least ten (10) issued of the Sun -Democrat, the official newspaper of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the extension of the city limits as herein proposed shall not become effective until the adoption of an ordinance anney±r-- the above described propertt- as herein_ proposed, and such ordinance shall not be adopted until publication thereof and until the expiration of a period of thirty (30) days after the passaCe o' this ordinance.
