HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 340, No Ordinance Number140V,r F �;■" 1t! a� O' t q AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE VlEIGHTS OF MOTOR TRUCKS, SEia-TRAILERS AND TRAILERS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PERnIITTED UNDER SECTION 1$9.2$0 OF THE KENTUCKY REVISED STATUTES", 11M CH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY ON JANUARY 20, 1953, AND AMENDED ON JUNE 8, 1954 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COAUvIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 2 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky on January 20, 1953, and amended on June 8, 1954, be further amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 2. The motor vehicles listed below may operate over any street within the city limits of Paducah, designated as a State or Federal Highway, or as a connecting link street, or in McCracken County within 15 miles of the city limits of the City of Paducah, provided same does not exceed the gross weights shorn below: Semi single axle trailer, gross weight 45,000 pounds, Semi tandem trailer or semi tandem trailer and tractor, gross weight 59,000 pounds. Provided, however, that the gross weight in any of the instances above, including load, may not exceed 1'0,000 pounds on any axle." SECTION 2.
