HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 322, No Ordinance Number322 V, V AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COM,1I3SION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF BROADWAY WEST OF 26TH STREET, AND &&~TENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on April 20, 1955, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING GOD24ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON BOTH SIDES OF BROADWAY WEST OF 26TH STREET", be approved as the final report of said commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby changed from R-3 to B-1: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Broadway and 26th Street; thence south with the center line of 26th Street 206.25 feet to the center line of an alley; thence west with the center line of said alley 2$0 feet; thence at right angles north 206.25 feet to the center line of Broadway; thence east with the center line of Broadway 200 feet, more or less; thence at right angles north 197.75 feet to the center line of an alley; thence east with the center line of said alley 65 feet to the present boundary of the existing B-1 zone; thence south and east with the present boundary of the existing B-1 zone to the beginning. SECTION That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN - ZONING MAP11 be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall.be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and.provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
