AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-B OF THE "APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES?
CIVIL SERVICE ORDINANCE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSION-
ERS ON DECEMBER 2, 1947 AND AMENDED ON MARCH 15, 1955
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 8-B of the "Appointive Employees?
Civil Service Ordinance", which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on December 2, 1947 and amended on March 15, 1955, be further amended
and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall
read as follows:
"SECTION 8-B. There is hereby authorized and created the

partment, heretofore known
Wu as the Street Department, and the salaries of each position, provided
J -9 S� the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment
P-16 j JN ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows:

non -civil service position which has heretofore
been created by separate ordinance and which is
not included in this ordinance.

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on and after the lst day of bray, 1955.
