AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CHIP WYNN BUICK-
JEEP FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIVE SUVs FOR USE BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
/ SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Chip Wynn
�- Buick -Jeep for sale to the City of five SUV 4X4s in the amount of $103,250.00, for use
by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Chip Wynn Buick -
Jeep of May 31, 2001.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Chip Wynn Buick -Jeep for purchase of vehicles authorized in Section 1 above, according
to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bids.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 071-
0210-542-4005 (FY02).
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
