A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ?'WORK OF CHISM & hIILLER, INC.,
WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION, THE STANDARD TRANSFORMER COMPANY
AND FAIRBANKS, MORSE & COMPANY PERFORMED IN CONNECTION WITH ALTER-
ATIONS TO PUPPING STATION NO. ONE OF STORP,i SEWER PROJECT KY 15 -CF -8
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY THE BALANCES OF THE CONTRACT
PRICE UPON APPROVAL OF THE HOUSING AND HOME FINANCE AGENCY OF THE
UNITED STATES
WHEREAS, heretofore by ordinance adopted by the Board of Commission-
ers of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,.Chism & Miller, Inc., Westinghouse
Electric Corporation, the Standard Transformer Company and Fairbanks,
P,Iorse & Company were employed to perform certain services and furnish
certain equipment for the purpose of making alterations to Pumping
Station No. 1 of Storn Sewer Project No. KY 15 -CF -8, and
:9HFIREAS, it appears all of said services have been performed
and equipment delivered according to the contracts.
1\10:1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1_ That the services performed and equipment furnished
by Chism & Miller, Inc., Westinghouse Electric Corporation, The Standard
Transformer Company and Fairbanks, Porse & Company in connection with
alterations to Pumping Station Pio. 1 of Storn Sewer Project KY 15 -CF -8
be accepted by the City of Paducah, and that the City Treasurer be, and
he is hereby authorized to pay to said firms the respective balances
due under their contracts after having received approval from Housing and
Home Finance Agency of the United States, and same is to be paid out
of money in his hands under Project KY 15 -CF -£3.
SECTION 2_ This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
