HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 221, No Resolution NumberA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ITS OFFICERS, ENGINEERS, AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES, OR ANY OF THEM, TO ENTER UPON AND USE A CERTAIN PORTION OF CLAY STREET FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MANHOLE AND FLAP GATE IN CONNECTION WITH THE PADUCAH FLOOD PROTECTIVE WORKS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the United States of America, its officers, engineers, agents and employees, or any of them, are hereby authorized to enter upon the following described portion of Clay Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the purpose of constructing a manhole and flap gate in connection with the Paducah Flood Protective Works and all other purposes necessary and pertinent thereto, and said portion of said street being considered as additional floodwall right-of-way and is a strip of land 15 feet in width located between Second Street and Third Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky and extending from curb line to curb line on Clay Street and abutting the east £loodwall right -o£ -way line. SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. 9.
