HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 203, No Ordinance Number203 AN CRDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING C01-1IISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF 4TH STREET BETWEEN MONROE AND MADISON STREETS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM•iISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on October 6, 1954, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COI•I•IISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE 1+7EST SIDE OF 4TH STREET BETWEEN I•IONROE AND 1.1ADISON STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 to B-1: Beginning at a point in the center line of 4th Street 173.25 feet north of the north line of Monroe Street; thence north along •the center line of 4th Street 115.5 feet to a point in said line; thence at right angles west 206.25 feet to a point; thence at right angles sough 115.5 feet to a point in the north line of the existing B-3 zone; thence at right angles east along the north line of said B-3 zone 206.25 feet •to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN-ZOWIING MAP° be, and they are hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and desig- r_ate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
