API ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN LAPID FROM THE
PADUCAH BOX & BASKET COT-'iPANY, INC. FOR BELT LINE HIGHIVAY PURPOSES FOR
THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE DEPARMiENT OF HIGHWAYS OF THE COT-1•iONV1EALTH
OF KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COPtiZSSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky purchase from
Paducah Box a Basket Company, Inc. the following described tract of
land in the City of Paducah, Kentucky:
Parcel No. 29
All that part of said tract or tracts which lie South of a line
run 50 feet north or left of and parallel to the center line of
said proposed public road between the southwest property line
at approximate station 114 / 27 and the east property line at
a point left and opposite approximate station 121 / 00.
Also, the following parcel of land lying immediately adjacent
to the above parcel, on the side, to the width and between
the station shorn below;

Parcel (a) is for the purpose of permanent right-of-way.
Also a strip of land 40 feet in width lying on the right or east
side of a line run/50 411 hest from station 115 / 00
north
between the North line of parcel (a) and the center line of
Cross Creek, a distance of approximate 110 feet North and adjacent
to parcel (a). This parcel is for the purpose of constructing and
perpetually maintaining an outlet ditch or sewer, license to which
is made a part of this conveyance.
Said land is to be purchased for the use and benefit of the
Department of Highways of the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a right-of-way
for the construction of a segment of the Paducah "elt Line Highway and
also as a sewer easement in connection therewith.
SECTT-OK 2. The consideration to be paid by the City of Paducah
for such land is that the city shall construct an extension of a 36 inch
sewer line proposed to be constructed by the Department of Highways
of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and such extension to be made by the
City will be from the north line of the Belt Line right -6f -way to the
south bank of Cross Creek. Such sewer extension shall be made and
constructed by the City within three (3) months from the date the
highway sewer is finished by said Department of IIi h a yrs, zn- d t l—

City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract on behalf
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky with Paducah Box &- Basket Company,
Inc. providing for such construction as a consideration for the
sale and conveyance of the above described land.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the. completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and shall be in
full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
