BE IT ORDAIidED BY THE BOARD OF MINI'�IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted on December 11, 1951, and amended on June
9, 1953, be, and the same is hereby amended and reordai.ned so that said

section as amended and reordained shall read as follows:

are not changed under any annual apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted
shall be as follows:

Firemen 30 265.00
Provided, however, that any fireman hereafter appointed, during his
first year of service shall receive a salary of ,1245.00 per month and upon
completion of a year of satisfactory service as determined by the City Manager
on recommendation of the Fire Chief, his monthly salary shall be increased

to w255.00 for the second year of'service, and upon completion of the second
year of satisfactory service as determined by the City Tanager on recommenda-
tion of the Fire Chief, his monthly salary shall be increased to the sum of
u265.00."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith

are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after October 1st, 1954, and shall continue in full force and effect only
until December 31, 1954. , ) -/—
