INCORPORATED, FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKYSz.FOR ONE (1)
DUMP TRUCK; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: I '
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky accept the bid of
Taylor -Wilson Chevrolet Company, Incorporated, for one (1) new 1954
Chevrolet 2 -ton dump truck, model 6103, equipped with the following: I
Heavy duty 137'1 wheelbase, maximum G.V.W. 16,000 pounds, heavy
duty cooling system, closed type crankcase ventilation, two -speed
rear axle, four -speed transmission, tires 750 x 20, 8 ply front,
825 x 20, 10 ply rear, three -yard dump body with 711 heavy duty
hoist;
at the purchase price of 02,374.00 less trade-in value of 050.00 on one
(1) D-30 193$ International dump truck, making the total net purchase
price of 02,324.00.
SECTIO14 2. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute a contract on behalf of the City for the purchase of said truck.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in
which it shall be put upon its final passage; but it being necessary for
the public health and safety that said truck be obtained as soon as possible,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its adoption.
