FOR THE SALE TO THE -CITY OF-PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF TWO (2) DUMP TRUCKS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED $Y THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY: ,
SECTION 1. That the City.of.Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
Krug -Thomas Truck and Tractor Company for two (2) International dump trucks,
heavy duty 13011 wheelbase, maximum G.V.BI. 16,000, heavy duty cooling system,
closed type crankcase ventilation, two -speed rear axle, four -speed transmiss-
ion, 825 x 20, 10 -ply tires (all around including a spare), three -yard dump
body with 7 -inch heavy duty hoist; at the purchase price of $2,954.50 each
less trade in valie of $600.00 each on one 1937 International dump truck and
one 1938 International dump truck making the total net purchase price of the
two trucks $4,709.00.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract on behalf of the city for the purchase of said trucks.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, but it.being necessary for the
public health and safety that said equipment be obtained as soon as possible,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption.
