AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KRUG-THOMAS TRUCK AND
TRACTOR COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
OF ONE (1) CUB WITH MOWER AND OTHER ATTACHMENTS AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C014MISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept
the bid of Krug -Thomas Truck and Tractor Company for one (1) Cub
Tractor, mower, wheel weights, rear rocker shaft, belt pulleys and
power take -off at the purchase price of $1226.75, less discount of
$122.74., making the net delivered purchase price in the sum of $1104..00.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City for thepurchase
of said tractor and equipment.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and
remain on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage, but it being necessary for the public health and safety
that said equipment be obtained as soon as possible, an emergency
is hereby declared to_exist and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
