PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTER-_
section OF 10TH AND FLOURNOY STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH; PRE-
SCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SAME, AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED CONVEYING SAME
WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
has heretofore conveyed to the City of Paducah, Kentucky a strip of
land 40.07 feet in width off of the west side of the Washington School
property to be used in the extension of 13th Street, and has agreed
to convey to the City of Paducah, Kentucky the property known as the
Garfield School building and site to be effective when same is no
longer needed as a school, both of said conveyances being made in
exchange for the conveyance by the City of Paducah, Kentucky -to the
Board of Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky of a certain
tract of land owned by the City at the southeast corner of the inter-
section of 10th Street and Flournoy Street; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky is desirous of making such exchange of property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky convey to the
Board of Education of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a certain tract
of land owned by the City described as follows:
"Being Lot No. 52 in Addition F to the City of Paducah
Kentucky and beginning at the southeast corner of the
intersection of 10th Street and Flournoy Street; thence
east with the south line of 10th street 400 feet to a 30
foot alley; thence south with the west line of said alley
370 feet to the north line of 11th street; thence west with
the north line of 11th Street 400 feet to the east line of
Flournoy street; thence north with the east line of Flournoy
street 370 feet to the point of beginning."
Being the same land conveyed to the City of Paducah
by S. A. Fowler, et al by deed dated June 12, 1891
and of record in Bt
�ook 42, page 83 in the McCracken
County Court Clerk's office.
Said conveyance shall contain no covenant of warranty and
shall be subject to any conditions or state of fact that might be
shown by an accurate survey. The Deed of Conveyance shall retain
easements in favor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky for sewer pur-
poses in a strip of land 50 feet in width extending from 10th street
to 11th street following the line of a 96 inch sewer, and a strip
of ground 35 feet in width extending from 10th street southwesterly
to Flournoy Street, following the line of a 42 inch sewer, the
location of both of said sewers being shown in Sewer Book No. 4, Zone 5,
page 13 in the office of the City Engineer of Paducah, Kentucky, and
being shown on other plats of record in said office.

SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed and
authorized to execute a deed of conveyance as provided for in said
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION3. This ordinance shall be in fu11 force and effect
from and after its adoption.
