SECTIO:; 1. As used in this ordinance the tern; "intersection" shall ;:oaa
the whole of that space at the intersectio__ of one street with another which is
bounded by the property lines as extended across said streets.
SEC -1017 2. Vehicles of any kind boing operated on the first namoo streets
at the following intersections shall have the right of way over other traffic at
said intersections:
Boyd Street 7th Street
Palin Street 12th Street
10th Street a Jones Street
71onroe Street'u ll,th Street
Beltline Highway co South 22nd Street
Beltline Highviay Ohio Street
Corey Street ,w Little Avenue
Union Street cs Caldwell Street
wi lis Street L 10th Street
The intersection of 17th Street or Fountain Avenue and
Jefferson Street shall be a 3 -Way stop; meanie that all
traffic shall stop before entering said intersection
except nest bound traffic on Jefferson Street.
SECTIOU 3. Before entering any intersection listed in Section
2 of this ordinance, the operator of a vehicle using the intersectio; street
not having the right of way as declared in said Section 2 will bring his vehicle
to a complete stop before proceeding to enter or to cross said intersection.
SECTIO?I 4. Any driver who violates the provisions of this ordinance
by failing to stop at any intersection as required herein, shall upon conviction_
be fined not less than V'5.00 nor more than V120.00 for each violation thereof.
SECTIOII 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its after its adoption.
