HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 13, Page 120, No Ordinance Number120 All ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARY OF SPECIAL POLI MLiEld T3i•;PO tA^LILY E1,1PLOYED BY THE CITY MAINAGER U11DER SECTIONS 1 AND 3 OF Ai•: ORDINANCE ADOP^t ED BY TILE BOARD OF COI+1IISSIONERS ON JANUARY 7, 1947 WHEREAS., an ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky on January 7, 1947 provided for the temporary employment of special policemen by the City Manager, and further provided for compensation to be fixed by ordinance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMAISSIONERS OF THE CITY Or, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the salary of any special policemen temporarily employed by the City i•Ianager shall be at the rate of x200.00 per month, to be paid at the same time the salaries of other city employees are paid. SECTIOII 2. Any special policemen or policemen so employed shall not acquire any rank, position, right of seniority or other benefit under the rules of civil service by reason of the services rendered by them.
