ORDINANCE NO. 2001-6-_6a-7 /
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DUCKETT TRUCK
CENTER FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE REAR -LOADING REFUSE BODY &
CHASSIS FOR USE BY THE SOLID WASTE DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Duckett Truck
Center in the amount of $102,328.00, for sale to the City of one rear -loading refuse body
and chassis for use by the Solid Waste Division, said purchase being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid
of Duckett Track Center of May 31, 2001.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Duckett Truck Center for the purchase of one vehicle authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account Number
050-2209-531-4007.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
