HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 958, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE MENDING SECTION 7 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RULES FOR THE BOARD OF COIZIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FIXING THE TIME FOR HOLDING REGULAR MEETINGS OF SAID BOARD, AND REPEALING ALL RULES AND ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY TIIE BOARD OF C01-3•:ISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 4, 1951. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CODIIISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 7 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 4, 1951, be, and the same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: 713ECTION 7. The order of business shall be as follows: (1) Reading and signing minutes of previous meetings (2 Petitions (3 Motions (4) Resolutions (5) Ordinances (u) Unfinished business (7) Hew business The reading of the minutes may be waived by the unanimous vote of the Board _:embers present, otherwise the minutes will be read in full before approval and signing thereof. At the opening of all sessions of the Board of Coi:unissioners the City Clerk shall note in the minutes the names of all members of the Board who are present. After the Board shall have transacted all of its business by proceeding with the order of business as provided above, the I�layor shall recognize any person in attendance at a meetiaS and give such person an opportunity to be heard concerning any matter requiring the attention of the board, but no person shall be pern!itted to speak longer than ten minutes on any one subject at any meeting of said board., �"C`iIOI: 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTIO; 3..
