"API ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND REGULATII4G THE USE OF PUBLIC STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH; DEFINING AND ESTABLISHING PARKING DIETER ZONES AND REGULATING AND CONTROLLING AND PROVIDING FOR INSPECTION OF THE TIME PARKING OF VEHICLES THEREIN BY THE USE OF PARKING METERS; PRESCRIBING LIMITS OF TIIrE FOR PARKING IN PARKING METER ZONES; AND PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT OF 1THIS ORDINANCE AND PUNISHf+ENT FOR ITS VIOLATION°i, WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMIaSSIONERS ON JULY 9, 1946, AND AMENDED ON APRIL 1, 1952 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C011 IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 6 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on July 9, 1946, and amended on April 1, 1952, be, and the same is hereby amended so that said r - section as amended shall read as follows: -a, "SECTION 6. Between the hours of $:00 o'clock A.M. amd 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Fridays and between the hours of 8:00 o'clock A.M. and 6:00 o'clock P.M. on every day except Sundays and other days which are declared holidays by the City of Paducah, it shall be unlawful for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in his name or operated or controlled by him to be parked in any space adjacent to which a parking meter is installed during any time when the meter is showing a signal indicating that such space is illegally in use - other than such time as is necessary to operate the meter to show legal parking - and provided also that it shall likewise be unlawful to park for any consecutive time longer than the time indicated for the following parking meter zones: (1) Zones limited to sixty (60) consecutive minutes parking: Broadway between Sixth Street and Seventh Street, First Street between Kentucky Avenue and Broadway, Third Street between Washington and Jefferson Street, Fourth Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street, �ffth Street between Kentucky Avenue and Jefferson Street except west side adjacent to Post Office property. (2) Zones limited to thirty (30) consecutive minutes parking: ;ast side of Fifth Street adjacent to Greyhound Bus Station, South side of Kentucky Avenue adjacent to Greyhound Bus Station, Broadway between Second and Sixth Streets except north side adjacent to Post Office property. (3) Zones limited to twelve (12) consecutive minutes parking: North side of Broad:•iay and nest side of Fifth Street adjacent to Post Office property. South side of Kentucky avenue adjacent to City Hall. .h 951 In all other parking meter zones parkin; shall be limited to One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive minutes. Provided also that except on Sunday and on those holidays listed above it shall be unlawful to park in the 12 minute zones adjacent to the Post Office property at all times of day or night if the meter shows a signal indicating that such space is illegally in use or for any time longer than 12 consecutive minutes.l' SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. I SECTION 3.
