HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 901, No Ordinance Number901 V AN ORDINANCW AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE PADUCAH WATER WORKS PROPERTY ON JACKSON STREET IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH FROM ELOISE B. MACDONALD AND HER HUSBAND, JOHN K. MACDONALD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; SECTION 1 That the City of Paducah, Kentucky purchase from Eloise B. MacDonald and her husband, John K. MacDonald, certain real estate adjacent to and north of the present pumping station on the Paducah Water Works property on Jackson Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the sum of $500.00, said property consisting of two (2} tracts designated as "Eloise B. MacDonald Tract No. 21' and 'Eloise B. MacDonald Tract No. 3" on a plot of survey for Eloise B. MacDonald, T. R. Griffen and wife and I. B. Coleman made by W. J. Borden, Surveyor, dated March 11, 1950, which is recorded in Plat Book "D", page 30, McCracken County Court Clerkts Office. The City Manager of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized to accept from the said parties a good and sufficient deed with general warranty of title; conveying said property to the City of Paducah, and to deliver to said parties payment from the City of Paducah in the amount of $500.00 as the purchase price thereof. SECTION 2 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
