A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTEEN KENTUCKY
GAS COMPANY A PERMIT TO LAY GAS MINS IN THE GRASS PLOTS OF 3RD STREET, BROAD STREET
AND BRIDGE STREET, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON IiIHICH SAID PFRMT SHALL BE
GRANTED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CONMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer
to grant to the Western Kentucky Gas C3mpany a permit to lay gas mians in the
following grass plots:
6" gas main in the grass plot beginning at
3rd and Norton Street, thence in a Southwardly
direction to 3rd and Broad, thence on Broad Street
to Bridge Street, thence on Bridge Street to Clements.
Said permits shall be granted upon condition that said company comply
with all the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
DIGGING, OPINING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDM"K, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC
WAY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION
THEREOF", which was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended thereafter, and also i
with the provisions of another ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE
DIGGING,( -OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ,ANY STREET, SIDE4ALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR
OTHER PUBLIC WAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, M- DUCKY, :AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR
ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adoptdd on June 17, 1947.
SECTION 2 This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
