HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 890, No Ordinance Number890 v AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COT4TISSION RESPECTING THE PROPOSED REPEAL OF ALL ZONING ORDINANCES OTHER THAN THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE, REPEALING SUCH ORDINANCES, AND DECLARING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE, AS ATTENDED, AS THE ONLY EFFECTIVE ORDINANCE AFFECTING ZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COTAtISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on July 11, 1952, entitled: ?'A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COTAIISSION ON THE PROPOSED tEPEAL OF ALL ZONING ORDINANCES OTHER THAN THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2 That all ordinances which were adopted and passed by the various legislative bodies of the City of Paducah prior to April 8, 1952 on the subject of zoning, within the purview of Chapter 100 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, commonly referred to as "The City Planning and Zoning Law," and which have not heretofore been repealed expressly or by implication, be, and they are hereby repealed. SECTION 3 That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance, adopted April 8, 19521 of record in Ordinance Book 12, page 709, as amended as of the effective date hereof, be declared to be, the only ordinance affecting zoning within the purview of Chapter 100 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes in full force and effect in the City of Paducah as of the effective date hereof. SECTION 4 That if any section, paragraph, or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,.paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be found to be invalid, inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof. SECTION 5 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
