HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 888, No Ordinance NumberA1 888 MENDED AN ORDINANCE MENDING SECTION 6 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE MPLOYMENT OF ATTORNEYS TO RESPRESENT THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, IN LEGAL MATTERS; FIXING THE NUNBER TO BE 51PLOYED AND THE AMOUNT OF THEIR COMPENSATION; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF SUCH ATTORNEYS; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HER WITH, " WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COhQtISSIONERS ON APRIL 24, 1951, AND ADDENDED ON DECEMBER 4'; 1951. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That Section 6 of an ordinance containing the titled quoted above be amended so that as amended said section shall read as follows: "SECTION 6. The monthly salaries of the attorneys employed by the City of Paducah shall be in amounts as follows: (1) Special Counsel $315.00 (2) Corporation Counsel 330.00 (3) Assistant Corporation Counsel assigned to the handling of civil matters 230.00 (4) Assistant Corporation Counsel assigned to Police Court 230.00 The salaries of attorneys shall be paid at the same time and in the same manner as the salaries of other employees of the city are paid." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after August 16, 1952.
