HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 876, No Ordinance NumberNA�Y"iRF. 976 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE DECLARING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH ONE-W&Y STREETS, LIMITING THE USE THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR VIOLATION THEREOF," WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF cowasSI0NER5 ON JUNE 3, 1952. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 3, 1952, be and the same is hereby repealed, amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 1 The following Streets or portions of Streets are hereby declared to be one-way streets, and all vehicular traffic using said streets shall proceed in the direction hereinafter indicated: 9-0 (a) Broadway between 17th Street, also known as Fountain Avenue, and 1st Street shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling East. (b) 1st Street between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling south. (c) 1st Street between Broadway and Jefferson Street shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling north. (d) Jefferson Street between 1st Street and 17th Street, also known as Fountain Avenue, shall be limited to vehicular traffic west. SECTION 2 All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, repealed. SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after 1201 A.
