BAKER & SON, FOR SALE !0 THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF ONE 1950 OLDSMOBILE, MODEL 88, DELUXE FOUR DOOR SEDAN BY TRADING IN FOR SAID NEW AUMMOBILE THE 1940 BUICI{ NOW USED BY THE FIRE CHIEF, AND AUTHORIZING THE CI`IT MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0181ISSIOITERS OF THE CI TI OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SEC TION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of C. N. taker, doing business under the firm name of C. N. Baker & Son, in the sum of }2,058.50, for the purchase of one 1950 Oldsmobile, Model 88, deluxe four d oor sedan, said sum representing the difference between the sale price for said neer automobile and the trade-in value allowed by said C. 11. Baker & Son for the old 1940 Buick now being used by the Fire Chief, said automobile to be equipped with a hydra-matic drive, safety turn signals, and a deluxe steering wheel with horn ring. SECTION 2. That the City Idanager be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah a con- tract for the purchase of said automobile, provided that the said contract may contain such conditions and covenants which the City &tanager may deem necessary. SEC TI 0111 3.
