HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 867, No Ordinance Number867 V AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF BRIDGE STREET AND ASHBROOK AVENUE AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on July 11, 1952, entitled: "A RESOLUTION RESPECTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE EAST SIDE OF BRIDGE STREET BETWEEN ASHBROOK AVENUE AND CLEMENTS STREETS," be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2 That the zone classification of the following property be, and:it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-1: Beginning at a point of intersection of the northwest corner of Bridge Street and Ashbrook Avenue, and running in a northi,+a.rdly direction along the west line of Ashbrook Avenue a distance of 130 feet to a stake; thence in a westerly direction and at right angles a distance of 135 feet to a stake; thence at right angles and in a southerly direction a distance of 72.58 feet to an iron pipe on the northerly side of Bridge Street; thence at an interior angle of 113 degrees 05 minutes and in an easterly direction along the northerly line of Bridge Street;a+_distance of 146.7 feet to the point of beginning, and known as 1946 Bridge Street. SECTION 3 That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extend and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4 That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every, section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions, so that if any section, paragraph or provision hereof shall be found to be invalid, or inoperative or ineffective, the deficiency or invalidity thereof shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof.
