HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 845, No Ordinance Number845 REPEALF5 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF JEFFERSON STREET AND 3RD STREET; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company, or corporation to at any time park or leave standing a vehicle or any kind on the North side of Jefferson Street between 9th Street and the point where the right-of-way of the Illinois Centeral Railroad Company intersects Jefferson Street near 11th Street; and it shall be likewsie unlawful to park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind on the West Side of 3rd Street between Washington and Clark Street. SECTION 2 Any person, firm, company, or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $1.00 (One Dollar) nor more than $25.00 (Twenty-five Dollars), and each time any vehbile is parked on said streets in that area prohibited by this ordinance shall bw construed as a separate offense. SECTION 3 All ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are to the extend of such conflict hereby repealed.
