HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 840, No Resolution Number840 v A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTERN KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY A PERMIT TO LAY GAS MAINS IN THE GRASS PLOTS OF CLARK STREET, CLAY STREET AND JACKSON STREET, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PERMIT SHALL BE GRANTED BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to grant to the Western Kentucky Gas Company a permit to la y gas mains in the following grass plots: 2" gas main in the north grass plot of Clark Street beginning at 3rd Street and running in a westerly direction to 5th Street approximately 780 feet. 4" gas main in the north grass plot of Clay Street beginning at 28th Street and running in a westerly direction approximately 720 feet. 100 feet of 2" gas main in the south grass plot,of Jackson Street East of 28th Street. Said permits shall be granted upon condition that said comgany comply with all the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF," which was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended thereafter, and also with the provisions of another ordinance entitled: nAN ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY Isi THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIRING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF," which was adopted on June 17, 1947.
