HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 825, No Ordinance Number✓ 8?S AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF A PUBLIC ALLEY 16.5 FEMET WIDE IN THE BLOCK SOUTH OF NORTON STREET BETIMEN 27TH AND 28TH STREETS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CORPORATER CONSEL TO INSTITUTE A SUIT IN THE MCCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT FOR TI[E PURPOSE OF HAVING SAID ALLEY LEGkLLY CLOSED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of all of a 16.5 alley lying 165 feet south of and parallel to Norton Street, and running between 27th and 28th Streets. SECTION 2 The Corporater Counsel of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized and empowered to institute, pursuant to provisions of K.R.S. 93.360, a suit in the McCracken Circuit Court for a decree ordering the closing of said alley.
