HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 824, No Ordinance Number824 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORL:ING AN INCREASE IN THE CHIMES FOR TfATER SERVICE TO CUSTOMS OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIIfITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, ICENTUCKY, IM FIXING THE CHARGES FOR SUCH SERVICE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COINISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1 That the City of Paducah accept the recommendation of the Commissioners of the Paducah Water Works to increase the charges for surplus water sold to customers residing outside the corporate limits of the city, and that the city approve and authorize the following charges to all consumers of water outside the corporate limits, excepting those consumers within the Lone 0$k Water District, to -wit:. Minimum Charges: For 5/8" meter the minimum charge will be $1.75 For 3/4" meter the minimum charge ill be 2.50 For 1" meter the minimum charge will be 5.00 For. 12' meter the minimum charge id.1 be 10.00 For 2" meter the minimum charge will be 17.00 Ilater Rates for 1000 Gallons: O,utisde City For the first 10,000 gals.per month @ 700 per 1000 gallons For the next 902000 gals.per month 0, 400 per 1000 gallons For the next 400,000 gals per mouth E) 35¢ per 1000 gallons For the next 500,000 gals.per month v 25¢ per 1000 gallons For the next 1;000,000 gals.per month 0 170 per 1000 gallons For the next 8,000,000 gals.per month @ 15¢ per 1000 gallons For all over 102000,000 gals.per month G 14¢ per 1000 gallons SECTION 2 i Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed to affect the contract of I4areh 31, 1947, and the supplemental contract of January 21, 1952, between the City of Paducah and the Lone Oak I•later District relative to the amount and method of charging said water district for water furnished by the Paducah Water Ilorks. SECTION 3 All ordinances and partsof ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 4 This ordinance shall be hi 8211 force and effect as of the July, 1952, readings and billings for crater service.
